The Project Details

The Glove Factory in Holt, Wiltshire, has undergone a complete refurbishment, transforming this historic industrial building into a functional and stylish office space. As part of the restoration, County Gutters was contracted to install a 150mm beaded half-round clip-fit PPC aluminium guttering system, securely mounted on rise and fall spikes to preserve the building’s traditional aesthetic. To ensure efficient rainwater management, 76mm round cast collar rainwater pipes were installed, complementing the period features of the structure while providing a durable and low-maintenance solution. The entire system was finished in RAL 9017 matt, offering a refined, long-lasting finish that blends seamlessly with the building’s character.

The conversion of the old glove factory into modern office buildings required a tailored approach to guttering, maintaining the industrial charm while integrating contemporary materials for longevity. For these areas, 125mm PPC aluminium gutters on rise and fall spikes were installed, paired with 76mm round cast collar PPC aluminium rainwater pipes to create a uniform yet functional rainwater system across the site. The use of RAL 9017 matt finish ensures a sleek, understated appearance that enhances the property’s heritage look while providing excellent weather resistance. This project at The Glove Factory showcases County Gutters' ability to balance traditional architecture with modern performance, delivering a high-quality, long-lasting rainwater solution.
