The Story: Cast Aluminium Rainwater System Installed at St Hubert’s Church, Corfe Mullen
A recent restoration project at St Hubert’s Church in Corfe Mullen has seen the successful installation of a bespoke cast aluminium rainwater system, combining traditional aesthetics with modern performance. Carried out by County Gutters, the works were carefully designed to respect the historic character of the church while improving its long-term protection against the elements. The installation included custom-made rise and fall spikes, allowing the guttering to follow the building’s roofline with precision and sensitivity to its original design.
The project was completed with the addition of cast collar rainwater pipes, chosen to maintain a classic appearance in keeping with the church’s heritage. The use of cast aluminium ensures durability, corrosion resistance and minimal maintenance, making it an ideal solution for historic properties. The completed system not only enhances the building’s appearance but also provides a reliable and efficient drainage solution, helping to preserve St Hubert’s Church for years to come.
