The Project Details

At St Mary’s Church in Kilburn, London, County Gutters was commissioned by J.M Scully to carry out a replacement of the aging cast iron guttering. To enhance both durability and performance while maintaining the building’s traditional aesthetic, the team installed 150mm seamless aluminium guttering. This modern alternative retains the classic appearance of cast iron but offers superior longevity and minimal maintenance. The seamless design ensures a leak-free system, providing improved water flow management and long-term protection for the historic church structure. The installation was carefully executed to blend seamlessly with the architectural heritage of the building.

The entire guttering system was finished in RAL 9005 matt, a timeless black coating that preserves the church’s original aesthetic while providing excellent weather resistance. By replacing the cast iron system with seamless aluminium guttering, County Gutters has ensured that St Mary’s Church benefits from a highly efficient, low-maintenance solution without compromising its historic character. This project reflects County Gutters' expertise in working with heritage buildings, combining modern guttering solutions with traditional designs to enhance both functionality and appearance.
