The Project Details

The Graylingwell Chapel in Chichester, West Sussex, has undergone a remarkable restoration, blending historic charm with modern functionality. Now a vibrant community trust space, the chapel includes a newly added extension serving as a coffee shop. County Gutters was contracted to install a complete PPC aluminium guttering and rainwater system, ensuring both durability and a seamless integration with the building’s character. The refurbishment included 150mm beaded half-round clip-fit PPC aluminium gutters, designed to provide a classic yet robust rainwater solution that complements the chapel’s traditional architecture.

To ensure effective water management across the structure, 76mm round cast collar rainwater pipes were fitted to the higher roof, while 101mm pipes were installed on the lower roof, maintaining proportionality and functionality. Every element was finished in RAL 9005 leatherette, providing a timeless black coating that enhances the historic aesthetic while offering superior weather resistance. This project at Graylingwell Chapel exemplifies County Gutters’ expertise in preserving the heritage of significant buildings while incorporating modern, high-performance materials to ensure long-term protection and minimal maintenance.
