The Project Details

County gutters were contracted by BCP Council to supply and install an anodised gutter system, due to the design of the building and the recycled timber being used from the replaced groynes anodized aluminum was chosen as it is an environmentally responsible building product, while still taking advantage of the anodic oxide’s durability, low maintenance and cost-efficiency. The frequent surface dirt cleaning will be virtually non-existent and the material can actually be cleaned only with mild soap and warm water.

The anodised aluminium gutter system was carefully selected to complement the sustainable ethos of the project while ensuring long-lasting performance in a coastal environment. Given the exposure to salt air and varying weather conditions, anodised aluminium provides excellent resistance to corrosion, maintaining its structural integrity and aesthetic appeal over time. Its ability to withstand harsh elements with minimal upkeep made it the perfect choice for this environmentally conscious development.

Additionally, the use of recycled timber from the replaced groynes aligns with the council’s commitment to sustainability, reinforcing the project’s eco-friendly credentials.
