The Project Details

At Bat House in Somerset, County Gutters was tasked with designing and installing a bespoke rainwater system to complement the unique architecture of this round building. To achieve a perfect fit, a pure radius 125mm PPC cast aluminium gutter was custom-made, ensuring seamless integration with the curved structure. The guttering was mounted on side rafter brackets, providing both stability and a clean, unobtrusive appearance. This tailored approach not only preserved the building’s distinctive aesthetic but also enhanced its ability to effectively manage rainwater runoff.

Complementing the curved gutter system, cast collar rainwater pipes were installed to maintain a cohesive, traditional look while ensuring efficient water drainage. The entire installation was finished in RAL 9005 matt, offering a sleek, durable, and weather-resistant finish that blends beautifully with the building’s exterior. This project highlights County Gutters’ ability to deliver specialist guttering solutions for unconventional structures, combining precision craftsmanship with modern materials to enhance both function and form.
