Ashmore Seamless Guttering
County Gutters were selected to install over 150 metres of Mustang seamless aluminium guttering at a large country estate in Dorset. The seamless system provided a sleek and efficient solution for this historic property, ensuring long-term durability while complementing the building's classic aesthetic.
The project posed a unique challenge due to the design of the sloping fascia. After consultation with the client and builder, bespoke brackets were designed and fabricated to securely mount the gutter. The tailored approach ensured that the system would function effectively while maintaining the visual integrity of the estate.

Given the location of the property, which is surrounded by trees, Alurex leafguard was installed to prevent debris from clogging the gutters. This addition not only enhances the system's functionality but also reduces maintenance requirements, keeping the gutters clear and efficient for years to come. The decision to incorporate the leafguard reflects County Gutters' attention to detail in addressing the specific needs of each project.
The building’s age and architectural style also influenced the choice of rainwater pipes. Cast collar pipes were installed, which perfectly complemented the ogee style of the guttering. The Mustang system was specifically chosen for its ability to extrude runs of up to 35 metres in a single length, reducing the need for joints and ensuring a seamless flow of water, making it an ideal solution for this large and visually significant estate.
